The OP is implying weβre likely gonna see one of the starter be traded by mid season (or not Re-signed during FA I guess)
Ya, could see some asset consolidation.
Context: The reason why they cut it off at 2004 is because they were consistently in the tax pre-04, trying to contend with Vince Carter before he left the Raptors high and dry. MLSE will dip in to the tax for a contending team but this one is not there just yet.
Who cares? Since 2004, has any raptors team had as much talent as we do now?

>I understand the point here but itβs worth the context that there were several competitive years where the tax wasnβt even plausible because of the CBA dynamics at play. And then a long stretch of them just being real bad. Only a couple times theyβve βduckedβ the tax.
