John Wall has December 10th circled on his NBA schedule for the Wizards – “Hopefully I’ll get that big standing ovation…My ultimate goal was trying to bring a championship there. Everything I gave to that city, from playing through my injuries, giving back to the community.”

Wall is a great person
John wall isn’t my favorite player stylistically, but he’s the player who carried the entire franchise I love on his back for years. He cares for dc – real dc – and gave us everything.
He had his flaws (trying on defense, jacking long twos, making gang signs on court), but none of those take away from the fact that he loves our team and gave everything to it.
John will get his ovation, his jersey hanging, and hopefully any job he wants from our organization. Without him, I don’t know if we’d have any fans left.
Those Wizards teams were some of my favorites. Still makes me sad that they never saw the success I wished for them.

I respect John Wall for being open about the struggles he had in the last few years. With how things were in limbo for him, I understand why he’d be upset. Glad he is in better spirits.
