Lakers don’t have time to try and experiment Rus rotation on what work and doesn’t. Changing the rotation disrupts team chemistry. By the time we get there it might already be too late & other teams have settled already. Imagine this lineup with Pat bev, LBJ, and AD it will be glorious.

Well, I agree as long they can negotiate and not give 2 first round picks.

I’m not giving up picks for just those two tbh. Throw in Brissett too and maybe I’ll feel better about it

For those that think the 2 FRPs are so valuable, what is the pros of keeping them, because as much as Turner and Hield aren’t “stars” having one of the best 3pt shooters and a stretch 5 that can defend (providing a dangerous duo in the front court and allowing AD to consistently play the 4), whilst getting rid of one of the biggest net negatives in the league.
I honestly don’t get the desire to retain the FRPs

Russ ain’t it but giving up two picks for these guys isn’t either

Do you guys know how fucking long 2029 is away. Hypothetical if we are concerned about the picks being high lottery picks make a plan to have the books cleared by 2028 and sign a bunch of good free agents then the picks are worthless. But hording them you’re telling fans “were gonna suck really bad in 5 years so we need them”…
