You never answered the question then why they not let Gelo play together with Melo? If they really wanted to see what they got with Gelo they had to let the 2 bros play together but they did not and they ended up getting Melo hurt. So that tells me the Hornets org is incompetent and not only will loose Melo but have lost the fans already. Not playing Gelo with Melo when you had a clear opportunity in the preseason is basketball blasphemy. Melo getting hurt is the outcome for a team that angers the basketball Gods like that.

We’ll just take this Ls as Gelo fans. We can’t use the minutes as an excuse. He got a couple minutes in a real NBA preseason game and he got good looks but didn’t knock em down. Hopefully he can go back to G league and dominate like we think he can.

Gelo got a FAIR shot! I cant hate on the coach no more. This time it was Gelos own fault. He didn't play well at all. He hit no 3pt shots and air balled one of them. One lay up and a free throw isn't gonna seal the deal. He gotta come out and do what everybody knows he can do. He has to hit his 3pt shots off the bench and drive to the basket harder and get to the line and knock those shots down. All Gello needed was 10pts and to make an impact on the court. He simply didnt do that. I was rooting for him and waiting for him to get this moment and he just didnt shine. He needs more work. I hope they put him back on the Swarm

I told ya’ll the “Mitch Hornets” was toying with LiAngelo trying to break him. Gelo should consider this a blessing and move on. Go overseas where he can get some quality minutes. LaMelo should bide his time and get away from Mitch and go to the Clippers. They strategically tried to make Gelo look bad with the sorry minutes they gave him.
