> “We plan on our handling ourselves that way. … That’s all I have to say regarding the matter. We’re here to win a championship and keep hanging banners.”

> Jordan Poole was thinking about his championship not the Draymond punch these past two weeks: “The main thing I was focused on is over with.” [Source](https://twitter.com/957thegame/status/1581742717666631680?s=46&t=x3mdTjUxRE3whf9S1vpbAg)

Poole speaks out about the incident with Draymond publicly for the first time, backing up many reports that Poole felt that a Draymond suspension would be unnecessary.

“Draymond was very professional in how he gave my agent all the leverage he needed to get me the bag.”

  2. Regular-Loser-569

Did Draymond write his apology as an extra clause on Jordan’s contract?

  3. YaGuyGaara

Wild how two grown men handled a dispute quickly and privately. Outraged redditors calling for dray to be traded cant even fathom

  4. DynamixRo

Now let’s never speak of this again until tomorrow.

  5. Of all the apologies I’ve received from people, I wouldn’t rate an apology as ‘professional’ all that high on the list.

Podcast experience paying off for Dray

  7. Kwilly462

“Dear Mr. Poole, I ought to apologize after my malicious physicality.”

  8. TremendoSlap

This is strange. Everyone knows that once a punch is involved, you’re both committed to a blood feud that follows you to the grave.

Interesting if Poole starts to cussing out Green in a game what would Green do?

professionell apology is the little sister of not from the heart

    “Sorry you’re a little bitch Jordan” – Draymond Green, Professional/NBA Player(Allegedly)

Lol I love how so many people got nothing better to do with their day than write Warriors hate-fiction in the Reddit comments

  13. SqueeepzRamsey

Aka “I was maxed and told to drop the issue”

  14. siinfekl

Poole in an unreasonably good and forgiving mood right now

  15. ButtVader

What if the whole thing is just one big conspiracy where Poole asked Draymond to punch him so he could get a bigger contract

  16. IRanTrackWithToad

The Warriors paid him a lot of money to shut up

  17. sctthuynh

I’m glad Poole is comfortable with the situation and from all reports “moved on” from the matter.

But the reality is, even if he felt somewhat differently, it would’ve been very very difficult for him to voice that to the public or the team.

  18. One punch man and black-eyed pool cool then?

  19. Green__Bananas

Still crazy to me how players don’t get into legal trouble for fighting. If any of us assaulted someone at work we get would get charged.

  20. Finally, the end of the warriors drama.

Now, back to the regular scheduled programming of Laker drama.

  21. shiny_lustrous_poo

Professional is an odd word to use for an apology lol

    > The main thing I was focused on is over with.

Poole got his contract and Draymond is going bye bye

  23. great_account

Love how it was handled this way. Reddit is for bitches.

Hmm…it’s almost like this subreddit loves drama and blowing shit up.
