### Likely Incentives (Initially Counts Against the Salary Cap):

* Poole will make an extra $250,000 if he plays at least 65 regular-season games and the Warriors **reach the second round of the playoffs**.
* Poole will make an extra $250,000 if he plays at least 65 regular-season games and the Warriors **reach the conference finals**.
* Poole will make an extra $250,000 if he plays at least 65 regular-season games and the Warriors **reach the NBA Finals**.
* Poole will make an extra $250,000 if he plays at least 65 regular-season games and the Warriors **win at least 52 regular-season games**.

### Unlikely Incentives (Initially Doesn’t Count Against the Salary Cap):
* Poole will make an extra $1 million if he **wins MVP**.
* Poole will make an extra $1 million if he **wins Defensive Player of the Year.**
* Poole will make an extra $500,000 if he **makes any of the three All-NBA teams.**

### In Conclusion:
> So that’s $2.5 million per season you can basically wipe off the top, $10 million total over the course of the contract. Basically: It can be **considered a four-year, $123 million contract extension that could realistically nudge into the $125 million to $128 million rang**e if he remains healthy and productive and the Warriors continue to win big.

God please win DPOY we’d be unstoppable.
That’s a good deal
The disrespect in saying MVP and DPOY arent realistic
Dpoy lol. Sorry spat out my drink.
If Draymond couldn’t get it twice I dunno bruh
Are the incentives for the previous season? Like if warriors win the 2022-2023 championship, does Poole earn an extra $1.25m for the first year of the contract extension in 2023-2024?
Great bit of business by the FO
Awesome. So basically 1.25 a year if we have a good season, he’s healthy and we make the finals. I’m gonna be a pessimist and say we average conference finals over the deal so an extra 750-1 a year if he’s healthy and we win 52 games.
2.5 that is basically unearnable unless he levels up like 3 times. And if he does we’ll be thrilled to pay it. Any all NBA team is more attainable, but still a really high bar. Will be surprised if he gets there during this deal, though not totally shocked to see him on 3rd team once or twice. And once again; would be pumped to pay that incentive since it means he’s kicking a**.
So basically 4/127 if the team stays very good throughout that time, which I think is likely but not a given as steph ages and the young core develops.
Hell of a job Myers.
Of the “unlikely” ones, I think the only one that isn’t REALLY unlikely is:
>Poole will make an extra $500,000 if he makes any of the three All-NBA teams.
If we didn’t feel there was at least a decent chance, we shouldn’t have given him a deal this good.
Of the “likely ones,” NBA Finals is the only one I’d have to rate unlikely. We have as good a chance as anyone, maybe better, but SO many things can happen in the course of a season.
He only gets $1 million if he wins MVP? He should get like $5-$10 million for that. As long as Curry is healthy and relatively young, Poole most likely wont ever even be MVP of his own team let alone the league 🤷♂️
So with wiggins and Poole signed. That leaves just about 25 million for dray and klay without breaking the limit the management said they want to keep under?
