  1. It would be fun if you tracked your favorite 3 basketball picks and what the payout would be for the week and then reset. Like Colin said he should have done for the blazing 5. Just a thought, love the show

  2. Is it a hot take to say the warriors path to the finals was also easy? The nuggets were missing Murray, mpj. The grizzlies were injured, Dallas overachieved against the suns (luka still lacks help), the Celtics had also had an easy path to the finals.. I think it’s hard to say the warriors are clear favorites

  3. The Celtics were winning the next title until Udoka’s poor decision making left him suspended. The Celtics are 100% still a top 3 team without him but winning a title without their real coach is going to be VERY difficult, especially if they end up playing Giannis in the conference championship game

  4. Lakers are underdogs for the first month of their schedule. Holy, CRAZY. If they win their games. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. And call them a contender

  5. Why does no one consider the 76ers a contender? They have one of the most talented rosters, and if harden is back to being harden they’re extremely dangerous, this coming from a gsw fan

  6. Great point re: Suns crunch time. Also very interesting as it comes to interpretation of stats. Ppl like Simmons, Russillo etc pointed to this as example of their nous and experience ignoring that they needed to win in crunch to win.

  7. If anyone looking for good odds on a dark horse to win the west or the finals I’d say pick between the nuggets and grizzlies. But if u ask me the Bucks will win this year but never know a injury or 2 and those dark horse could win u big money.

  8. pretty weak take on clippers vs warriors. warriors strictly use screens to create actions, but only when steph is handling the ball. clippers defensive scheme against players like steph and luka is to fight over screens and not switch everything. boston sagged, and look what happened. clippers vs warriors isnt gonna come down to the clippers being slow and sluggish, its gonna come down to who on the warriors will alleviate steph from playmaking duties, who will the clippers put on steph, who's bench will outscore the other, and if steph's shots are falling.

  9. Also, I feel as if everyone is forgetting that the Warriors had an insane amount of injury luck this championship as well. So did Boston, they faced an injured Nets team (Ben Simmons), injured Bucks (Middleton), and injured Heat (Lowry). Injured Nuggets (MPJ + Murray) Injured Memphis (Ja) , and Injured Mavs (Tim Hardaway Jr). So its funny you mentioned the Suns to have benefitted from injury luck, but not apply the same logic to the Warriors and the Celtics and have them favored over teams like the Nuggets and Clippers when fully healthy. Warriors have a very stagnant offense if they cannot get any actions going, and the vast majority of their actions are initiated off of a Steph led pick and roll or his off ball movement. Wiggins does not have a tight handle nor does he have good playmaking, Poole will come off the bench Im assuming, and Klay has never been a ball handler/playmaker. Clippers have Paul George, Reggie Jackson, John Wall, and can resort to Kawhi when ISO ball is needed. Nuggets have Murray and Jokic as playmakers in their starting lineup. Both teams have better offenses than Golden State, because the Warriors rely too much on Steph to create shots for others.

  10. Jason finally giving Steph the props he deserves although I think he’s #1 in the world. Allstar/Western conference/NBA finals MVP.

  11. You're good. I like the general direction but I often get bored halfway through.
You might need a co-host who challenges you and has different viewpoints.
Also, videos might be a bit too long and you should make your points more succinctly.
    Good luck.

  12. We love the analysis, but at some point, I hope you come to the realization that for the longevity of your career, you develop some sort of backbone in regards to Draymond Green’s abilities on the basketball court. Give us some objective analysis over how he would fare on a different team.
