don’t think any team can beat the LeBron Miami heat post decision

  2. Imagine having a team so fucked up that KD seems like the normal one.

  3. Interesting_King_885

Yeah this team is extremely unlikable just because of the persona of the team members, mainly Durant and Iriving. People hated the Big 3 heat, but for a different reason of maintaining integrity of competition.

  4. shellfish87

My dude, the Warriors are literally right in front of you.

  5. kmagic13

Will Jay Williams congratulate Nets on their first ever black coach?

  6. Relevant_Gold4912

You have to automatically dismiss any team that has won a championship as most unlikable I’m my opinion. So Bad Boy pistons, heatles and KD warriors don’t count

  7. Due_Connection179

KD has been on the two most unlikeable teams in NBA history…that’s crazy.

Edit: I can’t believe I have to say this for some people, but the KD Warriors are easily my most hated team in history. I liked the Warriors because of the Splash Brothers, but adding KD was awful for competition in the NBA. Didn’t even watch the NBA because of it while he was there.

I feel like if people actually cared about NBA history they’d find the various segregated teams more detestable but damn if the Nets aren’t the most hateable team in the modern NBA.

People saying the Heat Big 3 is a bit puzzling. The Heatles were definitely mockable for LeBron’s “Not one, not two…” comment but as far as I know none of them believe in or support antisemitic conspiracy theories.

  9. HoelEmbellyDancer

I mean yeah these Nets say crazy shit, but in 2009 the Wizards were pulling guns and shitting in teammates shoes, and then a couple years later Javaris Crittenton literally murdered someone

  10. CostOk1173

It’s always audacious to go against the field just because there are so many unlikable teams, but I would be hard pressed to find one more so. It’s almost like the Nets have *tried* to put together a culture of shitheads.

  11. cuttino_mowgli

So bring back the franchise to New Jersey?

  12. EpicBlinkstrike187

    I’m not reddit’s core audience as i’m almost 40

But I would pull for this nets team over the MJ bulls, just saying

  13. ToronoRapture

Lol JJ thought Jay was joking at first and starts laughing but then realises he’s being deadily serious.

  14. Hay-blinken

Ben’s just a total head case at this point. I mostly feel bad for him.

  15. martie242

If we’re being honest majority of it is on Kyrie I don’t think Kds done anything wrong this season he’s been pretty quiet so far actually

  16. Visible-Rutabaga9268

    It’s crazy.

I sports-hated the KD Warriors, but that was based on overwhelming dominance that felt unfair throughout their run.

On the other hand, with the Nets’ off-court issues surrounding Kyrie, Udoka, and Simmons, not to mention KD’s unwillingness to take anyone up to task about unprofessional shortcomings … I can’t stand this team either.

  17. DevryMedicalGraduate

They definitely exist in a unique place of hate.

Hate Stemming from Success – Patriots, Heatles, Warriors (KD years).

Hate Stemming from Popularity/Fanbase – Yankees, Lakers, Cowboys, Leafs, Red Sox – actually most Boston sports teams tbh.

Hate Stemming from Players being Scum – Nets, Astros. This is probably the hardest level to achieve.

I think whenever the Kyrie-KD era is over the Nets won’t be hated anymore.

  18. TinTinsKnickerbocker

I really don’t understand why so many NBA fans throw out the term ‘likeable’ out there like it has any significance. Not only in this case. While using the argument, people must realize that it’s totally subjective. No one gets anything from Jay Williams stating what he percieves as likeable or not.

  19. JohnFish2734

This is probably the first and most likely last time I will agree with JWill

  20. MommasDisapointment

Alex Jones should not be promoted. He was deplatformed for suggesting Sandy Hook was fake. He is a fraud who was exposed in court. And yet, Kyrie gives him a voice. Kyrie doesn’t understand how impressionable and young some of the NBA fan base is. Kevin Durant’s legacy will be tied to Kyrie Irving and I hope he realizes that before it really is too late for both of them in terms of public sentiment.

  21. Professional-Mess101

Jay Williams salty kds company fired him

  22. Unclematttt

Thanks for taking the heat off of us, Nets.

  23. spanther96

i have never actively rooted for a team to fail until this Nets team. even the KD warriors i was like, bitch move but damn they are so fun to watch. Lebron Heat was like seeing a 2K team in real life so teen me thought it was dope (didn’t like them beating my Celtics). but this Nets team just sucks, Kyrie is detestable and KD has used up the last iota of likability he had left with his constant bs

  24. The_Jrueth

Have been saying it for awhile now. The Nets are the Cleveland Browns of the NBA. They are a clown franchise that will sell every ounce of their soul for a shot to be relevant.

  25. Hamfiter

But the ugliest team was the Bird, Johnson, Parish, McHale Celtics

  26. GayForJamie

Also jay: it’s about time the nets hired their first black coach.

  27. heynebulon

It’s just Kyrie, stop tryna sensationalize this. It’s just Kyrie.

  28. charlesfluidsmith

Fairly sure large contingent fans weren’t that happy with those teams that wouldn’t let black people play on them.

These people need some f****** perspective.

    I hate this hyperbolic garbage.

  29. Deusselkerr

I hope Jay someday does a report on J. Williams and J. Williams on the Thunder
