Obviously, the circumstances have changed since this report:
At the time, Durant was seeking to connect with Udoka in Boston, and Udoka was still more than a month away from getting suspended by the Celtics.
Given Durant’s desire to be coached by Udoka stated in August, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Brooklyn was getting in on Udoka as soon as he got suspended.

I feel bad for Nash. He was clearly a lame duck coach ever since the KD trade request. Imagine knowing for months you’ll get fired at some point, constantly being on edge about when it’s coming…
