Are the Raptors without VanVleet the greatest team of all time? #LongBois

Last game we set the NBA season high with 139.

Tonight we break our own record with 143.

    Siakam MVP.

Hopefully the start of a losing streak. Gotta get back on track!

Siakam’s playmaking this year has been phenomenal, a genuine improvement in his passing game over the off-season.

OG Anunoby has been unbelievable defensively so far. Just stealing everything anywhere near him.

if Pascal played in that 12 minute long pickup game he mightve broke Wilts record

  9. Another strong game from the Raptors’ starting backcourt, Pascal Siakam and Scottie Barnes.

Raptors really going to outrun their opponents every game. RIP Fred’s knees.

If OG plays the required amount of games and still doesn’t make an All-Defensive team, then these voters needs their votes taken away.

Siakam is that guy this year.

    Rico Hines doing wonders.

I felt like the Raps had a steal every other play. Were the Spurs just sloppy?

Nurse noticed we were #1 in Fast Break points and just told the team to SEND IT every single time

The important thing is everyone had fun

Siakam is that guy. His performance this season has been brilliant. I’m pretty sure I witnessed a murder tonight.

    OG All defensive 1st Team
How many blog posts do I need to write to get a vote to make this happen?

I’m trying not to take too much away from a victory over the Spurs without Keldon Johnson.

However, OG Anunoby has been the best defender in the league this year. Please keep this group together for the rest of the season: I love everything about watching them play.

Scottie distributing the ball is really making a difference

Last year the Raptors struggled a lot against rebuilding teams, playing down to the level of their competition and just getting outworked by young, egoless teams. They got in their own way a lot in situations when on paper they had better talent on the floor. So seeing them come out with no mercy and just annihilate a rebuilding team is a positive sign of growth.

Pascal Siakam has become an elite playmaker and should be regarded as one of the top 2-3 playmaking wings in the league. He’s 10th in assists/game – everyone ahead of him is either a guard or Nikola Jokic. And the vision, timing, and precision he’s displaying with his passing now is clearly in the realm of what those stats suggest.

Raptors continue to be inexplicably bad on the defensive glass. However, [taps forehead] can’t be punished by offensive rebounds if most of your shots are transition layups and dunks.

Overall a fun game even if not competitive. Relentless pace, effort, minimal stoppage, cool dunks, not a lot of stagnant halfcourt sets.

Raptors had one of the most difficult (if not most difficult) schedules in the league to start the season, with

    – Cavs (home)
    – Nets (road)
    – Heat (road)
    – Heat (road)
    – Sixers (home)
    – Sixers (road)

Absolutely demolished Hawks and Spurs after a pretty brutal test to start the season

Being a Spurs fan is great this season because:

If win, talk massive shit. You just lost to a tanking team.

If lose, fuck yeah. One loss closer to Wemby.

Being a tanking team is, dare I say it, fun?
