What I’m seeing is off the bench he doesn’t need to phase himself instead he just plays 100% every time he checks in, doesn’t rest on defense as well, it’s looking good. It also helps that his teammates were hitting their shots.

Listened to part of the first half on the radio. Everyone seemed to be impressed with Russ’ play in the game at that point. If he can buy in to being on the second unit, he seriously could play his way into a 6th man of the year award. This would help him for his next contract. I really don’t see any reason not to buy in to running the second unit, except for ego.
