Every minute on an NBA floor is a learning experience. However that experience is stunted when a third of your roster is out/waived/playing post illness limited minutes. Not enough time for the rest of squad to gel up against a tough, athletic, lengthy, talented team.
Not fair to Spotlight Romeo after the Raptors, because most of the roster didn’t look great. Revisit when the team is mostly back together.
2 positives. 1. Dougie coming off the bench still trying to light it up. 2. Collins toughness. It was a rough game and he did not back down.
I hope the Spurs circle the Feb. date on their calendar for their payback game in Toronto.
