    2-5 is a very impressive record for a team with 3 all stars. Granted AD and Russ are a bit washed they still should have a better record.

    Lakers are fighting every night and putting up way more effort than last year. Get this team some real shooting and another big to take some of the pounding off of AD and they could make things interesting.

    Russ has been fantastic for the Lakers coming off the bench, it is a perfect role for him and allows him to be the primary distributor. If he keeps playing like this (minus the 6 TOs) the Lakers might have the option to keep him and play the season out and and allow his contract to expire and either re-sign him to a cheaper deal and/or use the opened up cap space to build back depth. If he elevates his play, they might even be able to trade him and get assets in return if a team decides to do that. An added bonus is they can take away some of LeBron’s minutes so they can preserve LeBron for their next championship run (which is not gonna be this year) cause LeBron has routinely played way too many minutes during the regular season. So far so good for Russ off the bench
