Stated in the video 2:20, sounds like he values rim protecting center who has speed and versatility over having a starter like FVV who’s undersized and not as quick.

GTJ off the bench is something we need to try imo. FVV when he’s right is still a better perimeter defender/playmaker/shooter.
Have GTJ come in as flash fire scoring threat off bench and close with him if he’s hot.
That much is obvious just from watching them out there, he does a lot of the things we’ve been lacking since the Ibaka/Gasol days. If he can develop a jump shot he will basically be a young Ibaka
Yup, I totally agree. Without a rim protector, you end up having Pascal and OG have to take on that function in addition to everything else they do on the court. Having Christian out there frees them up to be more disruptive on the perimeter where both guys are better suited.
I was a believer in trading for Yak at the deadline. But the way Koloko is playing as the 20ish minute rim protecter we are definitely better off just going after another shot creator. Koloko has been way better then anyone couldve expected
