PWill played aggressive and actually showed emotion tonight. He also played some lockdown defense towards the end. I’ll take it. Everything that went wrong for him .. did. Shit night, on to the next one.
Disappointing night, but I didn’t see anything that made me worry about the team. Even Pat making mistakes tonight is understandable to me – he needs experience playing aggressive like that in high pressure situations. But still, hard watch to say the least.

This was one of those games where at no point did I think we would win. I don’t care how close it got
That was a great effort, massive improvement from how we looked in this kind of games last season. Hopefully Drummond is back soon, we badly miss him.

Only complaint is I wished we roughed them up more
Takeaways from tonight’s game:
* Demar is the best contract in the NBA. Lights out all night. Pulled a block and two steals as well. Literally can’t ask for more.
* Pat didn’t have a great one, but he was aggressive and played good defense on Tatum the whole game. There might be a lot of fouls, but there were definitely some soft ones in there. This is game 98 in his career. Shit happens. He definitely wasn’t a bright spot, but the dirty play to start the 4th and the lack of bench points really was our downfall tonight.
* Drummond being out hurts us a lot. Really missing him in the second string, who’s been great all year, but tonight wasn’t a good one from anyone coming off the bench. It’s hard to win with 15 points from the bench.
* Zach definitely looked like the confidence wasn’t there tonight. Some crazy passes in there he was driving on before the knee issues.
* The lack of composure at the start of the 4th before Demar was in was really the biggest factor in losing this game. Gotta stay mentally strong in that spot, and without Demar there to steer the ship we definitely played super scruffy. I think one ball touched the rim in the first 2 minutes of the 4th. Just messy.
MVP’s for tonight: Demar and Vucevic.

Sad game by the bench and barey any ball movement after the first quarter. But we really got bailed by vuvevic 3’s man. Pat made a few bad turnovers and bad plays in the clutch, but if this will help him improve im all for it

yeah pat can’t be in there in super crucial clutch moments like those yet. He’s just far to unsteady and unsure. Besides that Ive been pleased with his improvement, just extremely rough at the end there
PWill hate is dumb, young guy in a big moment, but what about him shutting down j tatum and j brown on a couple of huge defensive possesions.
It’d also be nice if he could touch the ball as well after the first quarter to keep a rhythm, which isn’t exactly his fault.
God I wish Lonzo and Drummond was playing. Honestly, our teams look formidable despite being .500. We’re currently 6th on defense as well which is a good sign even w/o Zo. Our schedule is also whack. We play so many freaking games in consecutive nights

we did an awful job guarding Malcolm Brogdon and turned the ball over too much but we were still in there so i’m just gonna say GG. we’re at the W/L i expected so whatever. east is tough.
Man I miss 2020 Zach lol. Hopefully he’ll get back to close to that level once he recovers from the surgery some more.
With that being said this was a good game. The boys played hard and im gonna say we definitely get this dub with coby and Drummond lol.
We play .500 ball goddammit. Salt of the earth, punch the clock, even win/loss ratio basketball. We lose a couple, guess what? We’ll win a couple, too. But don’t get too excited or let it go to your head. No long winning streaks here, no sir. That’s hubris, which this blue collar, hard working everyman team doesn’t have. A few wins in a row, these guys, true to form, will balance it out with a couple a losses. Yes sir, that’s my 2022 Chicago Bulls. A good, honest .500 basketball team.
Plenty of time for Pwill to develop playing in high stress situations glad hes getting this expierence early in the season. It’s important for players to make mistakes and see the world goes on to build confidence when they see good games come back around. A lesson this sub could take to heart as well.
