The Celts really like to shoot that thang, eh?

I really don’t think Thibs knows how to balance offence and defence. We’ve never been good at both at once.

Huge games from RJ, Brunson, Randle and Harty tho. Play like that against most teams and we win.

  3. Knicks went from giving players career highs to giving teams new franchise records

  4. SiphenPrax

Can’t wait to hear Thibs bullshit reason for not playing Obi that much

  5. HokageEzio

These guys throw haymakers at each other every time they face off. That game could have gone either way until the last 2-3 minutes.

  6. NeoDestiny-

The Celtics will make the ECF at minimum this season provided they’re healthy

  7. Godfrey174

Insane 50/40/90 night for the knicks….. unfortunately for them the Celtics shot 53/53/100 as a team… unbelievable

Tough loss but at least RJ Barrett showed me something tonight. It’s been a rocky start to the season. This was easily his best game this year

Tatum needs to be more selfish. We have come full circle. He is being too passive.

He finally started looking for himself and then had like 13 in the fourth.

Good win on the back 2 back without Horford and Rob tho

He still had 26 on 50/50/100 so it’s not like he didn’t play decent, but he should look to make an imprint on the game earlier

  10. MediocreTake

I was shitting my pants thinking the Knicks were just going to keep going inside and make us hurt for having 0 good bigs

Our 3pt D is atrocious like the Jazz in the playoffs! Except we don’t have a 7’2 Gobert to create that mismatch. Soo what the fuck is the problem?? I have no idea

  12. FlyingMocko

Fun, competitive game till Tatum decided to put the city that never sleeps to sleep.

  13. Random role player going off in the MSG is a Knicks tradition at this point

A tale of two defenses, Celtics not guarding the paint and Knicks not guarding the perimeter

You really gotta watch the game to understand the impact Brogdon has done for the Celtics. Such a great off season pick-up.

  16. Alternative-Whole-98

Damn Celtics took 51 threes in the game! Offense is amazing, if they played defense like they did last year, they could really rack up some wins by limiting opponent points per game

  17. 16_czechoslovakians

Man this Celtics team is awesome. Felt like with how the Knicks played we should have won, but this Celtics team was just THAT good. ggs

  18. Knicks doing their best to not help the city of New York be excited about basketball

Not gonna worry too much about the defense, considering both of our starting centers were out. Vonleh did some really nice stuff, everyone was chucking 3s (probably because it’s less effort than driving, that Bulls game was a tough one), and Tatum decided to end the game in the 4th quarter.

  20. Toxicyoshi7

R J haters can gtfo, man is the only one playing defense too

  21. BengalsPacersBuckeys

Coaches are overrated bro lol I promise Celtics will be at minimum ECF and probably the finals

  22. heartofcoal

I thought the Knicks were once again burning money by paying Brunson but the man is a baller

  23. DuckDucks

Celtics were much better and shot the ball great. I don’t want to take away from that, but a big reason for this loss was that the Knicks defense is “instantly collapse on the driver” and then what do you know, a 3 point shooter is wide open. So frustrating

  24. Individual_Ad5726

I love that we hit so many threes….our defense stinks tho

  25. hs10slamdunk

Isaiah Hartenstein looks solid for the Knicks.

  26. Riggity___3

pretty sure they hit 30 threes in the 4th quarter of game 1 of the finals

  27. ClaymoresRevenge

All NBA season for Brown and Tatum this year

  28. NewspaperNo4764

All nine players for Celtics who played tonight made a three. That has to be some type of record.

  29. MiszuMiszu

Coming in here to say that Hartenstein having a positive +/- on 4 different teams now, even with limited minutes, is not a coincidence nor a statistical gaffe. He is amazing and provides for every team he has been on.

  30. Mintastic

    27 threes… that’s triggering for Rockets fans.

  31. Brady331

Celtics made 27 threes, Knicks attempted 27 threes
