Have to give him props to fool the officials

  2. purplebuffalo55

Why are we posting a highlight of such a heinous act? You should be ashamed

  3. BUY-HIGH-SELL-LOW6

Also just to defend my boy Bill he wasn’t saying Garland was faking he was talking about Russ

  4. thechemistrychef

That ball weighs 50 pounds actually

  5. brandnewredditacct

Look it looks stupid in slo-mo but if Russell Westbrook is coming at me at 30 mph and directs the ball at my face I’m doing that too

  6. PedosoKJ

The fact people were calling for a flagrant in the game thread is just as embarrassing as Garlands flop

  7. mtbeach33

This is so embarrassing. I understand why players do this, but it’s not basketball.

Is there a normal-speed clip? It’s pretty clear there’s contact, but it’s kinda hard to tell how much, if at all, that would have hurt when it’s slowed down like this.

  9. PrancingDonkey

This is one of the best flops I’ve seen. Like damn, the ball is literally a few millimeters away from hitting his face.

  10. ifinallymade_1

Didn’t he just come back from a bad eye injury?

  11. You cut the clip short. It goes on. There’s blood. A lot. It’s seriously NSFW.

That was a great draw lol

Players give way less of a shit about this and borderline respect it compared to fans who have never once played a sport outside of Rec-leagues

I sincerely can’t tell. Was this a real hit or a dive?

  14. HotBoyTeece

remember when d wade got fined for this and they acted like they cared for a lil bit

  15. Hay-blinken

Probably freaked about his eye getting hit again. That was almost a really bad injury and scared the hell out of him.

WB is not a viable way to shorten Westbrook. Can we call players by their names and stop this.

  17. giggity2

I see their feet. And that’s a blocking foul. he didnt get forearmed or elbowed. bad Call. Wipe urself up.

  18. DocPseudopolis

This gets at the core of people who want to “abolish the charge”. I firmly believe you should need to make a basketball play to take a charge.

Why are we encouraging this instead of swiping at the damn ball literally right in front of your face

  19. WhiteBakerMayfield

Guess I’m the odd biased man out here but I think there was clearly contact there. Garland probably still played it up a little but there was contact and I feel like at game speed that does have potential to hurt

  20. GeneralMillsSqueeze

Glad the Lakers suck ass so much this year go Cavs

  21. The league should raise flopping violations like this this to a one game suspension. Players miss a game check and the team doesn’t get to play them in the next game.

  22. Jockobutters

    1. There’s contact

    2. Garland has an eye injury

    3. They partied the night before in LA

    4. Cavs still ate your lunch

    5. Fuck the Lakers

  23. eroded_thinking

Maybe I’m high but this clip looks completely different to me depending on whether I watch it starting with the assumption that there was or wasn’t contact.
