While I didn’t like the way it ended, I’ll still take the win. Without question Marcus Smart best game thus far this year. He was doing pretty much everything from the jump. Was also cool to see Tatum vs Morant in what was a pretty good duel. Hope Tatum’s knee is alright

ja's slip with 2.2 seconds solidifies why he is not is top 20 current nba player right now. he is not disciplined, and cannot help himself when he chucks the ball backwards behind his head from beyond the halfcourt line.
Celtics closed the lane to not allow Memphis running to the basket for layups and Memphis barely plays defense to get definite stops while Celtics do looks like from these highlights
The Celtics D clamped down on Ja on the 4th, stopping the high flying guard on 5 straight incursions. Ja got to add the fade on his long list of repertoire in order to be effective in the face of elite defenses.
Great game overall ggs Celtics but one thing that's crazy to me is every single one of Memphis's 2nd game of a back to back were against playoff teams, Dallas and then Boston…and the next 2 are Miami and golden state, just thought that was kinda weird.
They need move Harford back to the PF position and have that guy Kabengele sitting on the bench, play center, his defence and Harford would improve the Celtic defence. They allowing opponents waaay to much scoring. They need to go back to the way they were playing last year even though William is injured, Kabengele has similar skillset
Even though they lost, I like how Ja has been stepping back a little bit to let the rest of the guys go to work. I always felt his ball dominance was a problem for the progression of their team. They got a good thing going.
