People knock his defensive rebounding, but overall he’s a complete center
He provides some interior D, he hustles, he can shoot outside the paint, he can pass and handle the ball
The Knicks should be extending him beyond next year before the year is over

Brings whatever he has every single night. Can’t knock the hustle.

I love the floater too!

COMPLETELY WORTHLESS stat. The man isn’t a solid enough rebounder nor defender to be considered a difference-maker. What he does against bench scrubs doesn’t mean he would do it to starters. There’s a reason the guy’s been on 5 teams.

i’m so glad he’s on our team, but watching games, he’s no threat to usurp mitch as the starter.

This is literally the worst he’s ever played in his career and still is the + – leader on the Knicks. We are severely underutilizing him on offense and still his defense is so good that he can single handedly carry games just on that end.
This is his 5th team like that other guy said and the pattern still continues. He’s always in the top for on off numbers in every single team he’s played for. Honestly it’s more impressive that he has been able to do this in multiple different schemes and systems and still be able to be as impactful as he has been. It shows that it’s not a fluke and this is just who he is. A winning player.

If Hartenstein keeps it up people who have been complaining about RJ’s contract since game 1 are going to switch to the other extension we gave out this summer.
