  1. Thanks for dropping some good worthy T Wolves basketball conversation on a NBA game-less night.

  2. Outstanding insight in this video, Coop. You made a lot of solid points. You didn't sound too much like a homer. You sounded like a smart basketball analyst that understands the game beyond the surface level, which was very refreshing. You may feel as though you had to have a more negative tone in this video, but in order for this team to be great, it obviously has to be willing to face that uncomfortable territory and work through it together. They won't be able to move forward until they're willing to address everything that's causing/caused the dysfunction.

I think you should bookmark this episode, so you can elaborate deeper on some of the the ideas you brought up, should they become more relevant as time goes on with this team. You offered a lot of quality takes, and I think that some of them may end up deserving an even more thorough breakdown in future episodes.

First like btw. Got you homie.

  3. Yeah i’m about to write a lot about what I think, so read what you want, you don’t have to agree this is just my opinion. I think Dlo has been such a disappointment, which is not a bold take. Remember when Doogie came in Skor North and proclaimed that Dlo had this different attitude and he was gonna step it up? lol. i don’t say much about him because i thought it was obvious that he wasn’t good, until i realized how many stans he has. yeah lowkey a bottom 10 starting point guard.
With KAT, i don’t think he has horrible leadership skills but it’s not enough to be an alpha. Despite this, he is sorta the only player right now that’s playing somewhat good basketball. He is trying to get movement and is taking less shots, but last night he needs to shoot more.
With Ant, you know exactly what I’m gonna say but I am so confident in my position in him: I think he is such an incomplete player. For me it goes much beyond an effort issue. I have never been impressed by his IQ and i’m kinda bothered by how he scores. He will drop 38 and get so much praise but in the process there was no ball movement and it was just him just heat checking. He also can’t play off-ball defense, he can’t dribble well, he can’t finish well, he can’t hit free throws, he isn’t that great of a passer. His mid range sucks. He’s so inefficient. I really don’t see a star in him. If the basketball is not within 15ft of him on offense OR defense he simply stands there with his ankles together and does nothing. I truly do not see a future star in this guy. I feel that his dunks and personality has won the hearts of fans and we don’t want to admit his mistakes
Jaden McDaniels is someone i would die for last year. My opinion has sorta changed about him. His hands are so slippery and I’m starting to think his defense is overrated. It’s not just the fouls, it’s how he gets completely bodied at some times. He also doesn’t grab more offensive rebounds. Ik i’m being nit picky and he’s young but i’m expecting a bit more.
With Gobert I have no clue. I’ve heard that he’s in great shape and that he’s in horrible shape too. So idk. I vote we don’t utilize him as much in the offense and let him do what’s best: rebound and play defense.
Our bench is aight. I was literally creaming over the Bryn Forbes signing cause he is so automatic from 3 but he just kinda sucks. Kyle Anderson has been decent but there still more to get from him. Naz Reid, Prince, and McLaughlin have been awesome. Also Nowell has sorta dropped off which makes me so sad.
Chris Finch seems to not make much adjustments. I’m not saying he’s a train wreck but i won’t say that he’s a top 10 coach. I vote we keep him for now, but who knows.

  4. I think it will soon be gobert leading us. Hopefully our ā€œgobert ballā€improves as a result

  5. Never too high, never too low. That’s so funny coming from Dlo, the biggest spazz. He is probably bipolar or something.

  6. Team started 4-9 last season. Boston was 18-21 last season and reached the finals. The timberwolves problem has aways been zero continuity, we change things every time we hit a bump in the road. Hallmark of bad teams.

Wolves 5-6 after major trade that will take time to adjust to. omg blow it up trade everybody fire the coach

Warriors 4-7 after one of their stars literally knocked a player out cold. Their GM is like check us back after 40 games šŸ™ˆ

  7. I haven't watched the video yet but from what I know about the team is dlo is a garbage losing player to have him in the starting line ups is bad can't defend on d and his shot selection his decision making his play making all that is bad passing the ball with laziness. Ant has regressed his athletic abilities has fell off due to out of shape or somebody told him to euro step all the time not really making three's and looks scared to go to rim. McDaniel is the worst I say trade him while he has trade value the guy is dumb with his fouls he can't stay on the court looks high while he is playing. Towns needs to shoot more stop running plays for gobert let gobert play clean up they also need to alternate towns and gobert more I would start jmac, ant tp, Naz and towns at 5
Dlo,nowell, McDaniel, slowmo and gobert at 5 rotate these line ups.

  8. Relax y’all! It’s gonna take more time for this to work out. Y’all are so damn impatient šŸ˜‚

  9. You can't teach effort. Dlo, KAT, and Ant plays when they want to. It is not 100% effort all the time. When we had Vando and Pat Bev, they were the one leading with effort so it becomes contagious. I think Naz Reid is the energy guy right now but he needs more playing time and be more vocal to push the rest of the team to play at a higher energy.

  10. Lack of trust in their teammates, their "flow" offense and lack of pushing themselves to be better. I remember when Laettner called out everyone as a loser and when he went after KG, he was gone. Finch has to decide who is his 1A. Ant or KAT. The offense has to flow from one of those two. Either a Dirk led team with KAT or a Kobe/Mike like team with Ant. No one can call out others, when they are just as bad. It is Finch's job. Finch needs to go after his starters. Light a fire or find a replacement.

  11. I think that the problem is that KAT and Gobert can play togheter, they need to change becauze the spacing is bad. But they have to adapt because it is a big change

  12. All joking aside, what could we get for ANT on a trade? 5-6 picks? 3-4 players?

  13. We should have traded Ant last season. I will see him as JR Smith until he shows me otherwise. He's a microwave shooter with low IQ.
