Rivers has lost the locker room.
Rivers managed to lose whatever respect he had left of both his stars and the bench all in the one game. That’s seriously impressive.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t decision though. If it worked out, it’s genius. If it doesn’t, here we are. Really easy to look back in hindsight and criticize after knowing the result.
Taking a player out with four fouls in the third isn’t an unreasonable coaching decision.
