Paolo Banchero Is The REAL Deal

The Orlando Magic have hardly been a model franchise, spending much of the last decade piling up losses, missing on draft picks, and generally taking all the steps necessary to build a consistent loser.

But the light at the end of the tunnel may have finally arrived in the form of a six-ten scoring machine named Paolo Banchero.

The 2022 No. 1 overall pick and 2023 Rookie of the Year frontrunner is a mesmerizing blend of an old-school bruiser with contemporary versatility, and he might just be the answer to Orlando’s prayers.

  1. just let these kids grow and learn how to play as a team… They may become the next GSW-like franchise with all the young pieces they've achieved by just drafting.. Orlando is about to be up there in about 1 or 2 years

  2. Yea Orlando gotta keep him alot of smaller markets lose their superstars, Now it's different today you can become a superstar and get notoriety anywhere you play, But if they don't win and go through too many dark years they will eventually leave, I'm a Duke fan and knew he would be a great NBA player, We'll see if he stays and sets his legacy or leave for a franchise who actually wins, He will be great but Orlando gotta get him running mates

  3. I've hated the Magic, because I'm a Heat fan. Banchero has instantly become one of my top 3 favourite players and a supporter of the Magic

  4. Well just hope that he stays long with the magic and not be the future corner stone for the lakers. Just like what happened to shaq and dwight

  5. You could see Paolo's deamonor even in Duke. He lead them to the Final 4, an achievement that even the likes of Barret, Zion, Tatum and Bagley failed to do.

  6. Hindsight is always 20/20. It’s easy to look back and say a team should’ve drafted this guy or that guy.

  7. Paolo play like old Lebron, they are the same size, have the same speed and handles, Lebron just have more bounce, strenght and better shooting and playmaking but their playstyle is very similar.
I will never understand why guys like Paolo, Giannis, Zion, Draymond ect are considered big men but Lebron who is 6´9 260+ (270+ in Miami) isn’t 🤷🏾‍♂️

  8. It's hard to not like Paolo Banchero. Not only he is the best player in his draft class, but his demeanor and poise show his maturity and how he's already ready to lead a franchise. The Magic BETTER NOT mess this up.
