Shouldn't have pushed out Jalen Brunson. Perkins was right, they took him for granted and let him hit UNrestricted free agency. Jokic got paid early on a similar deal, BECAUSE the Nuggets wanted to make sure they could match.
The mavericks were greedy and took the extra year at a low salary instead of a three year +1 which would allow Brunson to be an RFA in 2021. That allowed him to be an UFA instead of RFA
According to Luka fans he’s on par to be the best player in NBA history so he should be able to do it all by himself.
Last years time was as good as this and they went to the wcf. So saying their ceiling is a 1st round exit is a bit much when you have luka
ESPN calls this reporting… TRASH!!!
In hindsight you shouldn’t need Luka doncic to drop 44 against the magic early on in the season
This is what happens everywhere Jason Kidd goes. the first year they catch the league by surprise, then Kidd doesn't adjust and demands way too much power.
Luka fans gone still say he can do everything by himself
I don’t wanna hear that he doesn’t have help either 🤷♂️ All mavs fans said this team was better than last years and that Brunson is overrated
One of lukas weaknesses is that he’s not a good catch and shooter at all so he literally needs that ball to be effective unless he does some dirty work like set picks and stuff like that
bro grreat listen without malik
ALL FLATS, lmaooo thats my preference too 🫣
Thank for cutting her out of the videos so much more watchable
Luka relies heavily on Luka. He takes all the shots.
They are leaning on him because they got rid of everyone so he can have an MVP year. It's so predictable Mark Cuban wants it that way.
Cuban getting comfortable not building a team around Luka. He going to get tired of it eventually and bounce.
I watch the Mavs a tonne because I love Luka and their squad. I actually think this season's team is better than last season but it's their play style that is not gonna get it done. I watch most of their games and literally, the max amount of movement they ever have is 2 players. If it's not iso ball for Luka or Spencer to score or get a bucket, it's a pick and roll. But absolutely nothing happens off the ball and they have too many possessions where the ball is not moving around fast just for the sake of shifting the defense.
Honestly, if this team played Spurs basketball, I think they'd be a top 3 team in the West and pretty unstoppable offensively. They have dudes who can all really put it in the basket not named Luka – C-Wood, Dinwiddie, Hardaway Jnr, Bullock, Finney-Smith. All those guys can easily get you 18 a night. Even Josh Green's jump shot is mega improved.
It's really their playstyle and that's on everyone – all coaches, all players
Luka is the best player right now
0:06 Perk got me crying bro 😂
Duh
Nothing new it's been like this since forever thats why I don't think they'll ever win anything for now
Well when you dribble the air out the rock and turn everyone into a spot up shooter
Maybe that’s why
getting Javale was a fkin mistake
Luka is just too white for these fools 😂
Funny they say leaning on him to hard, i know a player who tore his achillies gets leaned on more than luka let that sink in
In my opinion The MAV's need an elite playmaker. A pass first PG. It is not like Luca is bad, but it will surely take a toll on him if he do it every game. He need someone who can facilitate and more. In that way Luca can relax a bit more when playing. because even if he drop 60points in a game but his team lose it will still be a lose for him.
Here comes the media again trying to ruin some superstars momentum
Outside of Luka they have Christian Wood and then a bunch of guys who deserve no more than the veterans minimum but are paid like they are special.
Luka and mavs will be fine they don't got roster to contend
Luka will leave for the Pelicans and it will be one of the great stories of NBA
