Wright State vs. Louisville Condensed Game | 2022-23 ACC Men’s Basketball



Louisville suffered a tough loss to Wright State at home, 73-72. It was a close game throughout, but Wright State ultimately prevailed on a Trey Calvin buzzer-beater. El Ellis had a terrific scoring outing for the Cardinals, putting up 29 points on 12-20 shooting. Jae’Lyn Withers had a double-double, scoring 15 and grabbing 11 boards.

  1. Apparently it appears Kenny Payne spent too much time around Calipari. Why the Ville didn't foul at the end with fouls to give…Idk… That's what bad coaches do. I also remember seeing Payne smiling like things aren't a big deal after losing to a D2 school and saying they needed this. That's exactly something Calipari would say lmao. I don't think you need to lose to a D2 school, but what do I know.

  2. KP was a GREAT hire. This team gets better every game and they will eventually get it together. Not too worried about it at this time as I've seen much worse. Two games played, two games lost by a total of two points. I have seen a lot worse. What really matters is how do we look in Feb.

  3. As a Wright State fan, I think both teams can be good. WSU needs to clean up their rotation, and U of L needs to hit the offensive glass harder
