I see a lot of comments saying Beal is ineligible to be traded for a full calendar year because he signed a designated veteran player extension (otherwise known as a Supermax). This is not true he didn’t qualify for one. He can be traded on [January 15th](https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2022/07/players-who-cant-be-traded-until-january-15-6.html) (if he accepts the trade) well before the trade deadline and with 39 games left.

Yeah but you’re forgetting the part where we gave him a no trade clause in his contract. He’s only leaving if he wants out and he pretty much can say where. So… yeah. Gotta look elsewhere because any option with dealing Beal to build something is void.

I would agree but the big three has so much potential that it would be counter intuitive. I feel everything currently stands on Delon’s shoulders. If he comes back and give solid 8-10 points per game + good Defense this team can become really good. Might as well give it your all before deciding to hope for an improbable future
