The Los Angeles Lakers are continuing to struggle this season, but have recently picked up a small run since moving Russell Westbrook to the bench and LeBron James’ return from injury. LeBron has improved his three-point shooting, from 24 to nearly 50 percent behind the arc since his return, while AD is playing arguably the best basketball in his Lakers career (outside of ‘bubble AD’). Lakers and even LEbron need to realize that they aren't winning the championship this year even if they're playing better. Trading for Turner/Hield might be good but it won't help this year, maybe next year will be good for chemistry purposes. You'll have Russ off the books. AFter this offseason, Lebron should ask for a trade. It's good for both sides: Lakers can get some assets for him and a team who's LEGIT "win-now" mode can use him to get a chip. Win-win.
