Laker fans were telling people all year they werent as bad as their record shows but nobody was listening. They could easily be 4-5 games above .500 this year if it wasn't for such dumb mistakes and missed open looks to start the year. A LeBron and AD lead Laker team will be a top 5 team going into the playoffs regardless of what their standing says I can guarantee that
I feel like the most impressive thing about the lakers this year is how close they are approaching 7-12, after being winless for so long. Teams most likely have not seen them coming, and that suprise factor most likely won then those first few games, but now, even with them in the rear view mirror of teams like the bucks, they are still finding ways to win. I personally thought the lakers would be the bottom-12th seed by that start, which they are now, but they are slowly creeping up on play-in spots, I feel as if they will have a very steady road from here on out, maybe being 4-6 for every ten games a week, I am personally a warriors fan, but you really just can’t take anything away from what the lakers have been doing! I personally thought to myself, “Maybe they were at their home court and that was why,” I still don’t know why i thought that because that was pretty rude, but they weren’t! I would not overlook them, but it would be bad to under-look them too.
The most impressive part is obviously AD's play. If he can continue to perform like this with minimal injury, the Lakers can actually make a deep playoff run. He went blow for blow with Giannis the other night showing anything Giannis can do, AD can do.
I do believe this level of play can ba maintained. I know Davis took his health very seriously after the injuries last season and it is showing. Considering the step up in play of Russ and the bench unit, I believe 100% the Lakers have turned the corner and are going to be a true contender in the west.
ad is really stepping up on this one lebron is doing good although hes not his mami self and not has physical as he used to be hes still good wesbrook did ok but deffnitly not himself.
This have been a amazing comeback, i really belive they will be a top 4 seed and maybe in the conference finals this year and LeBron breaking the Scoring record and the assit record will be incredible and give them a boost! I think russ will be much better, AD will keep this form, LeBron still crazy, and there rotation will be perfect as i said easily top 4 seeds or lakers style they will give everybody hope then they will chock and be like 14th place But hopefully not that one 💀
What’s most impressive for me has to be their offense. This is the best basketball I’ve seen this Lakers team play in a while, they’re shooting it very well and AD looks he’s back to his old self
The most impressive thing about the lakers is Davis’s ability to score on a nightly basis. He’s really respond to all the hate coming his way and he has to be the main reason the lakers are doing so well.
The Lakers are healthy and playing defense. That's the impressive thing about it. When you have 2 top 5-10 players actualy playing like it and you suround them with pieces that can buy in to the system, the winning will come. This play can continue as long as AD and Bron stay healthy (65-68 games each would be great) and if they manage to turn some of their pieces around for a legit 3&D wing, they will have a shot at the conference title.
Most impressive for me is Russell Westbrook having a better year than past year and he's coming off the bench. I didn't think it would work the past year and it showed that Westbrook and LBJ did not fit. This year, the roster is different and it's starting to show that Darvin Ham is coaching the players to have team success. So far its been okay other than the really slow start of the season. #LALAKERS
