Well dang boys. Good work, expected this one to be worse, but only losing by what we did and how we faught, makes me happy.

Dont hate the loss really. Hard to win with the players we have out.

THT makes me tear my hair out though sometimes, god damn.

  3. at least we didn’t lose by a landslide. impressed by NAW and Kessler. let’s not let THT close again anytime soon. gg nuggets

  4. ngmatt21

Not a bad showing from our JV team.

Also can we please start Kessler? He’s earned it

  5. oswaldjenkins

happy with the performance without our best 3 players

  6. Andrewski18

Rudy Gay is getting 15+ minutes a game while Eric Paschall is a free agent.

    Make it make sense.

NAW’s best game in a Jazz uniform. Beasley is becoming one of the leaders for this team and I’m starting to hope he sticks around long term.

THT played pretty well so I don’t want to bag too much. But holy shit when he shoots a 3 I have zero faith it’s going in.

  9. Can’t be too mad, way better than I expected.

But THT hero ball at the end, kill me now.

Why didn’t coach put Kessler on Jokic???! Weird decision making

I know its too early. Still wonder what Ainge plan on this team especially on december 15. Just curious to see it.

  12. I cannot believe we played such an incredibly hard fought game all night long just to take THAT shot at the very end.

I missed most of the game, did Hardy try Vando and Kessler at all? Just thought Kessler would’ve been better than Olynk at the end there. I know the spacing would suck but still

Good effort too many boneheaded plays to eek this one out. Don’t think we needed to force a bad 3 for the last shot could have easily gone for a 2 and played the foul game. Oh well

Anyone catch what hardy said to the officials walking off the floor?

Something like “cmon man that’s 4 damn…. Couldn’t lip read the rest.

No shame in this L. NAW looked great and Kessler IS THE MOTHERFUCKING GOAT. That is all.

  16. Last 2 minutes was all hero ball. No passing

  17. NeuroTheManiacal

Winning > silver lining mental masturbation

  18. zachlarsen

we need markkanen back so badly. kelly isn’t able to defend big centers like jokic and i guess kessler can only play so many minutes…

    GAME NOTES:

This is by far NAW’s best stretch with us. Each game with Conley/Sexton/Clarkson out, he has stepped up in his minutes and he really looked good tonight. The one little negative look on his game tonight was 6 turnovers, but besides that he played great offensively. Still needs more consistency on defense, but given his game tonight I’ll look past it for now. This was his game, and he showed stuff that I haven’t seen him do. Big ups to NAW, our GAME MVP imo

THT also played really well. He shot too many 3’s for a guy who is not a 3 point shooter, but when he decided to get into the paint he was looking good. His 2 blocks were both monster blocks as well.

Vando looked active defensively, which is great. He still looks a little different than 3 weeks ago, but I’m glad to see some energy is back,

I’m really surprised the game was as close as it was with no Conley, Sexton, Clarkson, Lauri, and Fontecchio. Guys like NAW, THT, and Agbaji stepped up.

Bolmaro got his first real minutes today too, and although he didn’t score I liked what I saw of him defensively.

Agbaji got more minutes as well, and he looks good out there. You can tell he’s a rookie, so hopefully with more development he can become a 10-4-3 sorta guy on great shooting splits.

Kessler looked good, 10-8-3 blocks. He tried his hardest against Jokic, but with the way Jokic plays it’s hard to stop him.

Speaking of Jokic I hate watching him play. He always has the Jazz’ number and i’m sick and tired of it.

The one-two punch of Murray and Jokic just became way too much. Nobody else on their team got over 15 besides those two

Ref’s were questionable tonight, but that’s not why we lost. We actually had more FTA and FTM than the nuggets, but there were some questionable calls

Rudy Gay continues to play like he should retire

Beasley played a good game too. With a lot more attention to him on defense, he wasn’t able to get to his spots as much, but still chipped in 19 on 40% from 3

Lastly Olynyk did better than I thought he would. 18-9-3 tonight while only being a -5 while guarding Jokic mainly. While Jokic ate, don’t get me wrong, I was surprised at the toughness KO showed.

Overall a scheduled loss, especially with everybody out. We were really close, and shot better than them from 3, had more FTM and FTA, but just couldn’t stop Jokic and Murray. I’m really surprised in THT and NAW today. THT has had very inconsistent minutes recently, and so this game has to feel good for him.

    15-14 Bitches, still above .500!

Damn, not having Kess in the end sucked. Why????

  21. davidgmontoya

NAW did great but had too many turnovers.

THT had some great drives but shot 14.3% from 3. He only had 1 turnover, though.

Kessler is amazing. There was a lineup with Kessler, Bolmaro, Gay, THT, and NAW that looked great defensively. The scoring wasn’t strong, but the hustle was good and the defense led to offense. It’s torture watching Rudy Gay play most the time, though.

I’m glad Ochai got plenty of time. He made some rookie moves but he has a chance to be really good.

Dok looks depressed on the bench.

Will Hardy is trying so hard not to mention the refs lol
