Takeaways from tonight’s game:
* Not gonna bullshit, was gone for most of the first half so take what I have to say with a grain of salt
* Deebo was deep in the bag tonight. Forcing fouls, making tough shots, superstar shit. Scored well, shot well, rebounded well, and had 7 assists with 1 TO. Can’t possibly ask for more. Got bullshitted at the end with the no call, but shit happens. Man’s legs were clearly gone at the end. He really did everything he could tonight. Man’s got ice in his fucking veins with those FT’s. Nothing but net.
* Zach was having a solid night as a whole then chucked in OT. Not a lot else to say. Too many turnovers and too many overaggressive shots in OT.
* Vucevic has decent output for how few touches he’s gotten. I still feel like we’re grossly underutilizing him.
* Pat was again solid as hell on defense (without the foul issues from earlier in the year), grabbed boards, scored well from inside the arc. One of these days, those shots are going to fall from both inside and outside the arc and I have full confidence this kid is going to be solid as hell to extremely good.
* Hopefully Ayo is good. That one looked like it hurt. God damn it’s hard to win games with your 4th string PG. Missing Lonzo, AC, and Ayo all at the same time while being on a b2b is brutal as hell.
* 3 point shooting definitely took a hit from last night and that’s the biggest reason this game was a competition.
* DJJ and Drummond were both big sparks off the bench and I’m super happy to see DJJ out there getting minutes and performing.
* Extra shoutout to Coby for making that effort play to get us the extra possession to get to OT….and the 3 to tie it in OT…just needed to play Trae a little tighter at the end…was good defense, just not good enough.
* Sometimes you get got and we got got tonight. I’m already thinking about the next one. Still part of me that’s wondering why we’re leaving guys like Pat off the floor with 0.5 left on the clock. He’s big and he’s mobile…why is he not in the game in that scenario after Capella comes off the floor.
MVP’s for tonight: Demar DeRozan and Derrick Jones Jr. with HM’s going to Andre Drummond and Coby White

There is nothing enjoyable about this win 1 lose 2 ass season.
