I've been a celtics fan since Bird and McHale. I love Jason and Jaylen but we need to stop babying Jason his play sucked just like in the finals last year.
Tatum is a little overrated and brown is a little underrated. That’s it

So glad that’s over. I’ll go back to Brown’s comments last night that were just spot on in my opinion: "We definitely played a little tense tonight … Last year is over. We payed like we had this one circled instead of playing our game." Still going through growing pains. That Warriors squad, specifically Curry, Klay & Green have played together for 10+ years and obviously a ton of playoff games. Not saying it will take the J’s as long, but Tatum still has growing to do mentally. It’s just so obvious that he’s still living in last year’s Finals debacle-time to move on. And honestly, as poor as the Warriors have looked this season we all know that if they make the playoffs, it’s a clean slate & the regular season means nothing. Sure the Pels look great, but they little to no experience as far as a deep playoff run. We shall see. On a different note, GMA is having a special segment on Marcus Smart tmrw morning. Dead wrong when he said we “the Celtics” have the ability to beat the warriors by 30.. the closest thing you ever seen that is the 1st game in the finals when everybody was volcano hot from 3 and they couldn’t miss even if they were blindfolded. But that’s the only time, even the game the other day proved that they have our number and if we play our best we still haven’t came up with the game plan to BOTHER Steph at all. And we just live with Klay taking jumpers it really was never a good job we did on him or something, he was just missing but he exposed that the other day. Al hordford didn’t play but neither did Andrew Wiggins who actually bullied and shut down Tatum. My point is if you’re saying that we can dominate the warriors or anything in that nature then you have no idea what you’re talking about, we looked good or decent against everyone else and looked the exact same way we did last year when they snatched out soul out. That means they made us scramble and go away from anything we wanted to do. Took us out our spots. JT suddenly went back in time and switched places with the finals JT, you just have to admit until we do what you think we can do, that’s the one team that would prefer playing us over anybody else and smack us around every and anytime. Love the Celtics but our fans see what we’re doing this year and became cocky and delusional and it’s statements that John Karalis made that proves it
Jayson is asked to do more as the best player and is held to a higher standard than JB. There is a reason jb is not a main initiator on offense and is more off ball this year and is thriving. Tatum is being asked to figure out how to be a top 3 guy. Hardest thing to do for any star

Drop the MVP talk. I'll tell you why. If Jayson's issue with teams like GS is psychological, then he doesn't need to hear all this. We can admit he's played well at a high level, let's leave it at that until the season's over. Also, I think he's felt like he has to carry this team in some capacity. But Perk said it right the other night. When your game is off, make an impact other ways i.e. defense, rebounding, even instigate. Brown is playing complimentary ball, so Tatum should chill if his mind isn't in it.
