Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac is taking the next step towards his return to the court. Orlando has assigned Isaac to the Lakeland Magic of the G League to continue his rehab. Isaac is expected to practice with Lakeland, including scrimmaging over the coming days. He’s not expected to play in any G League games with Lakeland. NBA teams have increasingly used the G League for these types of “rehab assignments”. The NBA schedule affords little practice time, so teams regularly send their players to the G League team to get a full day of work in. Isaac last played in an NBA game on August 2, 2020 in the bubble at Walt Disney World. He tore multiple knee ligaments on that date. Those injuries, and subsequent hamstring issues, have caused Isaac to miss the last two complete seasons. He's a guy that changes a team without even scoring a point because he's a lock down defender at 7 feet with a 7 foot wing span. When they throw franz at point Isaac,bol bol banchero and wendell good luck trying to score. And the nba better pray they don't get wembemaya.
