What is a unprotected 1st, really? It's just a gamble, a potential bust. Markelle Fultz, Greg Oden, Anthony Bennett, Darko Milicic, and even always hurt Lonzo Ball. You never know what you are getting with a high draft pick. Maybe you will luck up and get another Lebron, or a Ja Morant. Bojan is a sure thing that will give us the outside shooting we need. I had him on my fantasy team last year, and this year and he does not dissapoint. He is very consistent, and he fits into Lebron's window. 2007 is not guaranteed, and we do not know what this Laker team will be.
Would be great to get, along with another shooter ala a buddy heild if you can get them. Then the spacing you get for lebron and AD is next level, defence might be a concern haha

Personally if I’m the Lakers I would offer the unprotected first since their declining the protected. His fit would be literally perfect. Yes he’s 33 but he’s even scoring off the dribble. Even at about 36 I think he could still be effective even if its just catch and shooting. Lakers NEED him BAD. Bogie and Cam Reddish would be a perfect small blockbuster trade the Lakers need.
I truly do not think we have the assets to ask for more pieces. The front office has done so many bad trades that we’re forced into this position to give up these picks if we want to really compete. We’re also the Lakers so teams aren’t really willing to be fair to help us. Its too late to attempt to fleece a team. Throw the unprotected pick and take the risk. You won’t find another team even considering to give a guy that just gave us 40 points for a pick and 2 practically useless players on the court. Make the trade for Bogie and Cam Reddish and you still have Russ and another first if u need to do something else but I don’t think we will need another trade. Maybe a FA but not a trade. I’m trusting Bron, AD, and Russ in the playoffs to lead and win.

Pistons not giving up Bogdanovic and Bey and Burke for a first pick 5 years away. You better find another team. Pistons can get a first round pick from another team. You were willing to give up two first four Buddy and Turner. Which is a better deal? You still get to keep Russell running the second unit Bojan in the starting line up giving 20 plus. Burke and Bey running with Russ gives you a lot more than Buddy. But the way, what does the Lakers have to give up to match those three contracts, Bojan is 20m, Burke is 10.5m and Bey is 4m. Where is the matching salary? Let's keep it real. Lakers aren't being nothing for free.
