It was yet another bad loss for the Toronto Raptors yesterday who blew a 16-point lead to the Sacramento Kings and ended up falling 124-123. It was very clear from this game as well that the Raptors are fundamentally lacking in key areas of the floor, mainly in the rim protection area and the shooting department. There were positive signs from Fred VanVleet and Scottie Barnes but the team needs work and with it now being December 15th, many of the league’s key signings from the offseason are eligible for trade which makes many people call this the unofficial start of trade season and it is obvious the Raptors need to make some. Masai Ujiri and Bobby webster are certainly in the lab and there are positive signs that point towards trades happening. The Raptors have done a great job with recent contracts with nobody holding them ransom over the amounts they’re owed and all are reasonable to trade. On top of that, the Raptors hold all of their draft capital, coveted pieces of mid-season trades.
If the areas of struggle are obvious to the fans then they are even more so certainly to the front office. They need to decide at this point if they are serious about winning and making it work with this core or if they are serious about losing and going after a good draft pick. It may not be the exact trade you are looking for but all signs are pointing toward tons of action from the Raptors in the trade markets and opposition front offices are bracing themselves.

Trade Otto, dude has not played at all.
If I’m masai I’m doing FVV + TRENT + Birch + a pick or 2 for Paola and bol bol+ fillers . Imagine Scottie,Paulo, bol bol, siakam,OG Starting 5 🥶, if it’s not enough throw in pascal and ask for their upcoming draft pick they get for end of the season. And we get like victor or scoot too haha 😆
Since Koloko isn't ready yet Poetl would definitely help I just hope we don't give up TOO MUCH
Scottie/OG/Pascal is the core imo. Trade anyone else to get an elite guard and a stretch 5. Move some picks too.
