Yes, he’s played a very limited role to start the season, but Wendell Moore has felt like an under-the-radar revelation. This team’s decision making leaves a lot to be desired, and I think we probably all feel some level of uneasiness when we watch our guys play, but Wendell is shaping into a remedy for that anxiety—similarly to Jmac.
He’s not a distributor like Jmac, but his decision making, defensive effort and general composure are all things we should be feeling optimistic about. Plus, he hasn’t even fully unlocked his 3-pt shooting, which is something he has a history of being excellent at (his release/form is fast and silky).
He’s just exactly the kind of role player this team needs. He brings a calmness to our chaos and it’s nice having something to feel good about.

He should take Nowell or Rivers minutes. He shouldnt be worse than them and at least he staying with us for couple of seasons

Ngl he looked very lost last night, scared to do anything.
There was a play where he passed on a good-looking 3 and got chewed out by Kyle Anderson afterwards.
Then later he made a move baseline but simply dribbled it out-of-bounds.
He’s shown promise and played decent defense but I don’t think we want to be in a situation this season where we have to rely on him.
