Get rid of Trevor Brown he's worthless, get rid of Patrick Beverly he's worthless and get rid of Kendrick Nunn he's worthless.
Getting rid of westbrook would essentially be getting rid of 25-30 points a night.

I really don't understand this narrative that russ has played well. He's shooting the second worst percentage of his career from the field, he's shooting more 3s this season than last on a lower percentage and is 7th in the league in turnovers while only playing 28 minutes a game. Not to mention he's making 47 million. The lakers really have fallen from grace if this is the quality they deem to be "good"

If the Lakers want to wait until after the season to use $30M to get a star (very few for less than $30M) or 2 supporting cast players, then at least try to get Alec Burks and Saddiq Bey from the Pistons, also Cam Reddish from the Knicks. Neither of these deals should require any 1st round picks. But it addresses wing depth and a little 3 point shooting, since Burks is shooting 40% from the 3 and has done so for the last 3 seasons. If a deal opens up involving a star player for Russ and 1 or 2 of the 1st round picks, then pull the trigger. If not, wait until off season to see who's available.
