What is Joe talking about? Lol we played the Magic, it’s not a good game being in a close one with one of the worst teams in the league. Delusional
Uh, we played like shit though?
I respect the accountability at the end but uh Joe, offensively we played terrible. We lived and died by 3 the ENTIRE game
I’m starting to not like joe a bit, don’t talk do something about it and change the course this team is on
The honeymoon phase is over.
I feel like Joe, with his faith and how he’s turned his life around, is just generally a optimistic, glass half full kind of guy. But there’s times when you must say to yourself, this shit needs to be corrected.
We haven’t played well this series, but I feel pretty confident in saying the Magics record doesn’t reflect their team. They are certainly not one of the worst teams in the east. Just super young and volatile because of it
This is also such a Brad answer which our team clearly doesn’t respond well to
The black Brad
This statement by Joe makes me lose a lot of faith in him. They miss Ime badly. They need someone with the balls to tell they they have gotten punkd for 5 straight games now and are lucky to even have 1 win in there.
Hey Joe how about try devising a game plan that isn’t predicated on us shooting at a historic unsustainable level from three
What is this guy talking about
The team seem to respond better to being held accountable than to this type of softly softly feedback.
47 3PA when you’re not even hitting 30% of them is not a “great game”. I understand he doesn’t want the players to overthink open shots, but you can’t bank on the whole team shooting 40% from 3 every night. The worst part is that he seems to be encouraging them to shoot MORE when they aren’t hitting, which is what is giving the opponents these crazy runs where they open up big leads or erase ours.
True championship teams can win in multiple different ways even when their primary strategy isn’t working. We haven’t shown we can do that yet, maybe other than the Brooklyn game when or defense took over for a bit, and it doesn’t seem from Joe’s comments like he’s even really interested in that. He just seems to want to spam 3’s and live or die by it, which I really hate.
Starting to feel a lot like Moneyball the way Joe is hanging this teams success on 3 point shooting.
Everybody understands that they are taking good looks but would it kill the man to develop some sort of secondary offence that can allow our guys to get to the rim.
What happens when they have a rough shooting night in the playoffs?
