BOSTON, MA — Boston Celtics Interim Head Coach Joe Mazzulla was interviewed following Boston’s 95-92 loss to the Orlando Magic on Sunday night. The Celtics have now lost four of their last five games, including two straight to Orlando, as their offense fell to pieces.
On the loss, Joe Mazzulla said “Outside of the result, I thought we played a great game… late game execution, that’s on me.”

Celts are obviously in a tough stretch, but some people are straight up going overboard with their reactions. The team is 22-9 and tied for the best record in the league. Clearly their shooting has fallen off the last 5-7 games and have not played with the same swag during that stretch, but honestly they look like they just need to regain their focus. Can't be overreacting about a 1-4 stretch in mid-December

Its horrifying and scary how bad this coach is. He thinks contested threes' are good shots? Worst coach in the league, absolute joke. I thought his defensive coaching, rotations, lack of adjustments and bad timeout usage was an issue, but that is nothing compared to thinking they are taking good shots. This coach gives me a little weird vibes even when we were 21-5 and the vibes were great. There’s a reason why they haven’t removed the interim tag. I’m not sold on this guy. He lacks toughness call it how it is. When Tatum plays like a soft lesbian tell him he’s playing like that. I don’t know what’s happening behind close doors, but it seems to be you are on the soft side.
