BOSTON, MA — Boston Celtics Interim Head Coach Joe Mazzulla was interviewed following the Celtics 117-109 loss to the Orlando Magic on Friday night. The game marked the season debut of Robert Williams following an offseason knee procedure.
On the Celtics poor offensive performance as of late, Mazzulla said “Getting good looks, even when they’re not going in you have to fight & shoot it… that’s just one part of it (shortcomings)”

Need focus next game rebound & defense
This is another guy that doesn’t get it. It took Ime half of the season to get these guys to move the ball and not become stagnant. Joe talks as if this is a new team that has to learn something to play good basketball. That I don’t get. The bottom line at this point Joe can not get this team to play the way Ime had them playing. He seems at times lost

Too many 'lob' questions from the media. Mazzulla will be a good NBA coach some day, but right now the team seems to be beginning to start to tune him out. Since the Phoenix big win, they've strayed from what they were doing earlier with smart timely movement. It's now much more ISO ball.
What about finding a player on the bench yo spark ignite the team?

Our guard play has been terrible, too much iso with Tratum and Brown. They have come down to earth as far as three point shooting.
