I don’t think he’s going to win it if the Nuggets continue to be so bad on defense. If they’re not consistent on that end, they’re both contenders and Jokić is in the running for MVP again.

This year, maybe even more than the last two, voters want to vote for anybody but Jokic. Mostly because he’s won the last two and voter fatigue is a real thing for MVP voters. But if he continues anything near what he did last night and no other candidate can maintain their status…. Watch out, he just might three-peat.
