Would actually be a huge pickup with Gabe hurt and our bench lacking. Gogi is a guaranteed 12-15 points a night. Being back the Dragon!!!
he’s speaking UD’s words of wisdom right there
Dedmon and a second for Dragon and Drummond (can’t be worse than Dedmon)
They can’t defend anyone. They don’t have two POA defenders and their center can’t defend. You can win with sus POA defenders, you cant’ win with sus POA defenders AND no defensive center. They were ranked top 10 in defense when Lonzo and Caruso were both healthy last year.
They lost a game where they scored 126 points and shot 52%; their offense is fine. They gave up what? like 150 points to the Timberwolves who were sucking on offense?
I didn’t have a problem with any part of their “win now buildup” outside of the Vuch situation. They sent out all that draft capital for a center who doesn’t defend. They’d be a much better team with all those picks back and a bog standard pick and roll defensive center. I’m not even going to get into the fact that they might have drafted Franz Wagner.
Also, relying on Lonzo to stay healthy is basically like relying on AD to stay healthy.
Please bring back the Dragon.
Chicago isn’t trading Gogi most likely. He’s on a min deal and is outplaying Coby White. Also Gogi unfortunately isn’t the player he was when he was here. He’s regressed pretty badly and at this point isn’t better than Gabe, especially on the defensive end where he’s a major liability.
I’ll always love The Dragon but Spo doesn’t play Duncan because of his defense and Dragic is probably even worse on that end than him at this point.
