Milwaukee Bucks move to first place in NBA as Joe Ingles’ return looms

The Milwaukee Bucks have yet to field their full rotation for any extended stretch this season even discounting Joe Ingles, and yet they moved to first place in the Eastern Conference – and the NBA at large – on Sunday ahead of Ingles’ return Monday night. Jordan Treske of Win in 6 fame joined Ti Windisch on the Gyro Step to discuss the Bucks’ impressive start despite the team having yet to really hit its stride, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s uneven season, Bobby Portis taking his game to the next level over the last several weeks, Grayson Allen’s step forward offensively, MarJon Beauchamp continuing to tantalize Bucks watchers everywhere, what they expect to see from Joe Ingles, and their thoughts on how Bucks Culture enables the team to continue a drama free existence despite tough decisions made by coach Mike Budenholzer on who plays any given night. Also, Ti gets fired up and swears in the last 10 minutes over NBA media takes about the Bucks offseason continuity.

  1. Bucks definitely been underwhelming. Been playing like trash for most of the season. I don't recognize my team for the most part. Right now, I would say they are not playing like a top seed. Hopefully they turn things are soon.

  2. Great podcast! Thank you for the Bucks talk. This is a tough week of their schedule, these road games at NOLA, CLE, and BKN are brutal. I hope we can keep the best record after this and hopefully a win at BOS on Xmas day. Juggling a good rotation is definitely a challenge for Bud, I truly hope he can manage it effectively. With Middleton out of the lineup again, that to me is a cause for concern. I'm as big a supporter of his as anybody, but he has to step up and start playing well if this team wants to reach its full potential. The best ability is availability, can't help us if you aren't there. I think Bud should give Marjon more run without Ka$h being there. If Ingles can give us any of what he was it'll be a huge plus and an added dimension to the team. We need health, and we need time to get rhythm back. I'd feel better if we can get the 1 seed and put some distance between us and BOS.
Keep doing what you're doing and I will remain steadfast in my support of your show!
