Simmons knows shit. As much as this sub hates to admit it. He’s been in the business for for decades

I get why people don’t like Bill/respect his opinions. But he’s got a nearly perfect record when it comes to the business side of the NBA

The way Bill Simmons got famous is interesting af. Basically just a normal dude who made a sports website then it got picked up and he took off

Bill Simmons said Dolan is looking to sell, this is the shred of hope I tuck under my pillow every night.

Clairvoyant Bill – batting about .120 but when he hits, he hits

  8. SenorBuckets

Didn’t he also say Obama was going to buy them?

How the fuck did he pick Ishbia? Is Ishbia even remotely famous?

Pretty sure he also said the Hornets would be available for about 2 billion once the Suns were sold, hopefully MJ sells soon

I think he said on a recent pod (maybe the one with Russillo?) that “he doesn’t just say this shit”, that he has people he talks to to get the info he has.

I don’t know how true it is but predictions like this make me wonder.

Bill knows what he’s talking about when it comes to the NBA. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves.

He actually said 4.5 – 5 range… and also said million instead of billion.

He called someone buying the team for $4 billion? K.
