Why Scottie Barns is so much inconsistent ? It is psychological or physical problem ? Immature or still not clear what’s the role he plays ? Such a talent player but creates me so much doubts!😮
The Raps are no where near blow up territory. First they need to get GTJ, Porter & Achiuwa back in the line up to assess their team's rotation at full strength. I can still see a second half run for Toronto- if healthy. Raps biggest hole is at center where Masai/Bobby haven't adequately replaced Gasol/Ibaka who left as free agents in 2020. A center like Hassan Whiteside who could offer rim protection would suffice in my mind. He could start & play 12-20 minutes a game for the vet minimum. Furthermore, OG & Barnes are a future lockdown wing combination. Raptors need to build around those two if anything. Acquire a top flight point guard similar to a De'Aaron Fox type (potential trade) & add a stretch, rim protecting, rebounding center like Myles Turner.

Jonesy looks at getting OG back in the lineup the same way as getting back Lebron or MJ in their prime…homer comment alert 🤐. Flynn deserves to play!!! Raps’ discussion for 22 minutes? Jonesy has been stating that it’s a process. This doesn’t mean it’s not frustrating. It does mean we need a third OG, if Scottie’s inconsistent. Same as we need another Pascal for times when he’s ailing. AND, the doubling up of the defence is something that needs to be done from the start(!). Not sure why Raps wait on this😔. Still, keep going guys! Raps got to the players last year, against all odds.
