Ahhh an anonymous account breaking news from an anonymous source.
Saying this as an anonymous coach so if/when it’s not 100% true his name isn’t drug in the mud. Smart!
Trae is an amazing talent for sure. And you always have to take these anonymous reports with a grain of salt. But this really wouldn’t surprise me.
He dominates so much of the offense that other guys have trouble getting into a rhythm. And then on defense, all our guys have to take care of their own defensive assignment while constantly watching where trae is because they are inevitably going to have to cover for him at some point. They basically try and keep trae zoned up top and everyone else has to rotate and help each other behind him. That has to be frustrating for players.

I know this comes from an anonymous source, but I don’t think it’s a complete stretch to believe this. Everyone thought the report about a player (turned out to be Trae) and Nate having a disagreement before a game was fake until it was proven true.
Trae is more valuable than any said player and of course Nate. If this was really the issue they would both be gone. Non news for me
Trae seems like an ass, but I don’t think this can be true. You see the way the players interact with him on the court? And the way Trae interacts with them? I don’t see any beef between them. And if Nate and Trae are beefing and one of them has to go then BYE NATE. SEEEEEE YAAAAAAAA.

And finally, if we bring in a competent coach and Trae doesn’t get along with him, which I would imagine he will if said coach is competent since Trae has not had one since he came into the league (nice job on that by the way, Tony Tax Man), then Trae is the problem and we should move on from him. Again, I don’t believe this either way. I’m not going to let the fucking press, let alone “anonymous anonymous” turn me on a player. Fuck outta here. State your name and your source or shut the fuck up. This is the biggest problem in the twitter era sports journalism. All gas and no sources all the time. So it is from an anonymous source which I don’t really buy.
But if I pretend I buy it and Trae does have issues with the coach then that means he has had issues with two coaches and at some point I stop blaming the coaches.
That probably gets down votes, but like I said there does have to come a point… that point isn’t now. It isn’t when an anonymous source is reporting anything but that point exists.
BS report but I am tired of the leaks from the office. Obviously, no one has their heads on straight and it’s bad looking in. True, Trae and co need to grow up and step up but the organization needs to clip this kind of crap.
Trea did say one thing after AJ’s last game winner. They caught him in the tunnel walking out and the first thing he says is something like “That reminds of the time I hit a game winner …” Ugh. I was just like “Dude! For real?”, and the Hawks IG posted it which was like “Huh, why would you hand your top player out like that? Bury that clip!”
Idk what’s going on or what the answer is for it, but SOMETHING is definitely going on.
At the end of the day they don’t have to like/love each other but they have to respect each other. If there’s no respect then gotta switch it up real quick. Both can be annoying for whatever reason.
That said, shit like Monday vs the Magic should NEVER happen (especially to that team even though they’ve been playing well recently)
