LA Clippers $2 Billion Intuit Dome Construction Update Inglewood 12.15.22

Likely my final Inuit Dome update of 2022. Roof work continues as steel framing works its way from the east and as well as the west end. More exterior grey panels are going up from the east end working its way around to the south.

  1. You think a rebrand is in order to open up this new Clippers era? ..I think a new fresh logo would be great. Go Clips!

  2. PRETTY SOON EVERY HOUSE IN THIS PART OF INGLEWOOD CA WILL BE WORTH AT LEAST $900,000…SMALL AS HOMES AIN'T WORTH IT…

  3. Those pieces with the blue wheels on the sides are escalator stairs. The wheels run under the handrails.

  4. It will be interesting to see how the lighting of the building will affect the neighborhood on the south side. Lots of homes there and they probably won't appreciate bright lights shining into their windows. Also, isn't there a bridge supposed to be built over Prairie connecting the parking garage to the arena site? I didn't notice any "hole" in the garage that would be where a bridge would be connected.

  5. Wow, $2billion top notch arena
    Best in the world 👍
    Go L. A Clippers 😍

  6. I wish they would've put it somewhere else we already have one! The traffic is a bitch already!

  7. The LA clippers will still be ugly hot trash because of those ugly uniforms it don’t matter how expensive there new stadium is because those uniforms are ugly I’m still mad that Steve the owner change the uniforms the 2006 clippers uniforms was a work of art with the beautiful red white and blue and the cursive clipperss logo letters was high quality we need those uniforms back

  8. I’m somewhat near Sofi and Intuit. Glad I’m witnessing both historic stadiums having been built. Plz redo Market street asap. Needs redevelopment quick.

  9. Won’t be able to drive on Century on gamedays . It will be a parking lot😮😮😮😮

  10. Good Job John! I'll share this with my Sheet Metal Brothers. We're putting up the 3" Foam core panel wall sections. Crown Corr.
The Crane in the East is being used by Our Glazers, the Window crew. Like Steel Cables behind the windows?

  11. John, do you think that those columns on each side of Prarie are the first phase of the Prarie bridge?

  12. Video nicely done. To help answer a few inquiries, at 4:45 the reason there is much construction on Prairie in the center median is that’s where most of the utilities will be routed (electric, natural gas, possibly telecom including fiber optic). Prairie Avenue is also the route for the $1.2 billion Inglewood Transit Connector (ITC). The 1.6 mile route starts at the METRO K Market Street stop and runs south onto Prairie with the final destination on the northwest corner of Intuit Dome. At 7:34 if you were filming at the south or southwest, that would be the dome rooftop mountings for the solar panels. Intuit Dome has a zero net-energy goal, although solar panels will help alleviate load on the grid, kWh generation from those solar panels will not achieve that goal. That is why there is still the need to bring in power through a transmission line, it takes a lot of power to run a sports venue. At 8:19 the rebar columns looks like anticipated concrete support column. If you were filming west and adjacent to the Intuit Dome, this might be part of the 3-story “VIP” parking structure that is designed for team owners, NFL executives, Clippers players and celebrities. AECOM, the architects who designed Intuit Dome, have a detailed rendition outside their offices in DTLA. Hope this is useful.
