I’m guilty of it too. Part of being so into a team or sport is being super reactionary. These stats are Poole’s over the last 4 games. I should have included that in the title or something lol.

People actually say the dynasty is over because of him?

The Wiseman narrative flipping from doomsday to hope in 24 hours is hilarious. Poole being a god after the Raptors game to now a problem after struggling was predictable too.
A lot of people genuinely don’t understand what they’re watching on the court, and struggle to make solid evaluations of a players game that will NOT just change night to night. Poole is going to be streaky for a while. A bad defender for a while. Wiseman is gonna be lost defensively and detrimental to the Warriors brand of offense for a while.

I view those high efficiency, high point games as “sell the rip” if you want to speak in stock terminology. You can’t be paying a JR Smith/Jordan Clarkson/Jamal Crawford/Lou Williams type of player that’s a liability on defense that kind of money. Dude slips and falls and over dribbles and turns it over with ease. Monta was Poole without a 3 point shot, albeit he was often more efficient in his prime and was the same liability on defense. If he was the antithesis to Warriors basketball, how is Poole any different? He has yet to prove that he can consistently be that guy without Steph around alleviating the pressure.

I don’t think it’s reflective of the entire sub. I think it’s just more like all the haters will come out and post their guy is playing bad, and then all the supporters will come out and post about their guy when they doing good.
One’s not going to go into each other’s thread and argue 90% of the time either. It’s just people with similar opinions that will comment, which makes it seem like the whole sub goes back and forth.

To be fair to Poole the offensive system we run has him cosplaying as Steph Curry…the problem is that he’s not Steph Curry….lol
