NBA Insider Ian Begley reacts to end of Knicks winning streak after loss to Raptors | SportsNite

On SportsNite, SNY NBA Insider Ian Begley joins Michelle Margaux to talk about the Knicks eight-game winning streak coming to an end at the hands of the Toronto Raptors, 113-106. The Knicks had no answer for Pascal Siakam, who dropped 52 points in the Raptors win and sorely missed second-year guard Quentin Grimes, sidelined by an ankle sprain.

  1. Defenders who can slow down/stop Pascal are long tall players that can move their feet like Jaylen Brown,Jaren Jackson etc. Nobody on that Knicks team can stop him

  2. Even the most causal Knicks fans can see Reddish is vital to the team. Obi and Cam are perfect pieces once healthy, for continued success during the season, as well as making a huge impact during the playoffs. Not sure what the deal is with Cam (groin or otherwise) but the optics are very bad from the outside looking in 👀 . Extend and keep developing Cam as part of the core.

  3. I’m surprised Cam Reddish doesn’t play more then what he does. Definitely would be useful on the floor

  4. This is why I can't stand our coach. Siakam drops 50+ on us and you WOULD THINK our stubborn ass coach would wake up and say let me put 6'8" Cam Reddish on him since everyone else was clearly getting torched. Plus it was the second game of a back-to-back so guys were tired. But……NOOOOOO…our coach has some personal thing for Cam and would rather have an opposing player get 50 on us. Total 5th grade mentality. Our "coach" has pretty much ruined Cam and Toppin, and D Rose deserves some run too. He can still play. I know we are winning, but it's a bit of fool's gold right now. I love my Knicks, but we have the WRONG coach.

  5. Obviously Cam is being traded, because Raptors have out coached THIBS again… double on Brunson as Siakam just continued to drive down the lane against undersized defender's…Cam is a wing defensive stopper who could've slowed him down IMO.🗽

  6. Missed Grimes in this game but the turnovers hurt most of all, especially from Brunson and Barrett. And I think they would agree. Time to start a new streak beginning with the Bulls tonight.
