With the Lakers getting all those guards, I thought maybe the front office wanted to trade for a big guard and some wings (send out the extra guards away so we are balanced after a move). I think then there was some hesitancy due to AD’s recent injuries, LeBron’s age, and the fact that the team can probably live off the 2020 ring for another few years. Lakers really should’ve just gone all in and did the Indiana trade for 2 picks. Yes, Myles is expiring, but I think most likely he’d re-sign if the team did well, which it probably would have. Replace Russ with Myles and Buddy… this team is much better.
