I legitimately believe he's the front runner for MVP this year yet again. At this point he has to be ahead of everyone. The "voter fatigue" excuse is not a legitimate excuse and robs individual players of the awards they deserve. It wasn't right when MJ or Lebron got robbed and this cycle needs to end.
Giannis' stats across the board are worse this year than last year. He's worse defensively, he commits more turnovers, less assists, worse shooting, worse efficiency stats than last year. Embiid has been better this year than Giannis and he's been lowkey underrated in the MVP debate. Tatum has been very good and Luka has been excellent despite a subpar roster but still, Jokic tops them all in efficiency.
Jokic has the league's best PER, RAPTOR score, WAR, Win Shares, +/- this year. He's flirting with a triple double statline. The Nuggets have the best offense and 5th defense in the NBA when he's on the floor. His offensive and defensive rating per 100 possessions is a staggering 132 to 110. Last year the knock on him seemed to be the Nuggets record, well this year they're win % is higher than the 76ers and Bucks had last year. They're a game behind the Bucks and have the 3rd best record currently. Things can of course change but for now, he's only been playing better and better. The last 10 games he's averaging 30.6/13.4/9.6.

I wish he could jump little higher
When I started watching basketball back in the mid 60s the highlights always featured the otherworldly Wilt Chamberlain. Since then the only guy Iβve ever seen take over a game like that is the Joker. There are 4,5,6 minutes stretches where he scores all the points he doesnβt assist on and stops &/or rebounds the miss on the other end. Every play on both ends for a dozen or more possessions. If Nikola is as indestructible as he seems, he is going to put up absurd career numbers likely never seen in the history of ballinβ.
It is simply incredible how Gordon and Nikola think as if they are in the same body. It is not easy to follow Jokic's passes, you must be always alert that the ball can come to you. But Gordon always gets it. He is always prepared. They are a great combo.
