Thanks Josh! One other thing about categories vs. points – in category leagues there are such things as win-win (and lose-lose) trades. This is because teams can have differing builds and strategies in order to win games, and certain players can suit those builds more than others. I can do a trade with a team in cat leagues that makes both our teams better. In pts leagues, since scoring, no matter the system, is flattened to one fantasy point total, team build doesn’t really matter, and trades cannot be win-win – there’s always a winner and a loser, or the value is the same and so the trade doesn’t really matter. It makes cat leagues infinitely more strategic and nuanced and player trading much more interesting.
For whoever was asking about sleepers for next season, technically they won’t be sleepers until you see the ADP yahoo/espn gives them. Undervalued is accurate because people won’t wanna trust them again.
Did a trade in 14t9cat: Kessler and Keegan for Poeltl. Kessler was doing well (Olynyk is out though) and Keegan has been scoring a lot. Poeltl is doing poorly so it was a HUGE buy low imo. I think I won that trade (especially after today's game)
